Dr. Anton Bilchik to Receive Humanitarian Award

At its annual dinner celebration this December at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the Anti-Defamation league will honor Dr. Anton Bilchik with its Humanitarian Award. Dr. Bilchik, MD, PhD, FACS, is Chief of Medicine at the John Wayne Cancer Institute (JWCI) and a co-founder of the California Oncology Research Institute. Dr. Bilchik serves on the editorial boards of many peer-review journals and is also on the Board of Directors of the Southern California Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. As an internationally renowned surgeon, Dr. Bilchik has helped establish outreach programs in underserved communities, teaching about cancer prevention and treatments. He has been recognized as one of “America’s Top Surgeons” for ten years in a row.
